It amazes me how many golfers will spend $800 on a new driver but not $100 on a lesson.

There is a lot to make fun of about golf. I love the game though and I have made many friends from playing the game.
@kendonnelly I had lessons as a child, but never took the time to become competent. I still enjoy a putting green, though.
@kendonnelly That's a very PG Wodehouse observation about golf.
He was reputedly not good at golf, but his golf stories are very entertaining.
