Today I played golf with a guy who said Taylor Swift “got a lot more famous after dating that football guy.”
Dear Reader, he is a nice young man so I corrected him nicely but firmly.
The funniest part is the fact that your golf buddy knows who Taylor Swift is, but Travis Kelce is... 'that football guy'.

@kendonnelly I'm pretty sure Taylor Swift gets more famous any time _she_ does anything. Sure she got in the news more when she started dating whats-his-face, but she also gets in the news more if she puts on a dress.
