), just got his op-ed published in the SF Standard: https://sfstandard.com/2024/01/26/san-francisco-budget-disaster/
Andy was a staffer for Sup. Catherine Stefani. So, he had a unique position to see this act happen in real time.
What is the value of anger?
Why do animals exhibit it?
How does it effect our evolutionary trajectory?
If we master our propensity towards anger, would we change as a species?
Would we trust more?
What would we learn about ourselves that cannot be learned due to the wide exhibition of anger in our society?

"Trump attorney D. John Sauer argued that presidential immunity means that a president cannot be prosecuted for any actions that fall under his presidential duties — unless the House first votes to impeach him and the Senate then convicts him." - WaPo
So, all he would have to do is find a "presidential duty" to kill off every Democratic and anti-Trump Republican senator after he is impeached by the House so that he cannot be convicted. There wouldn't ever be a trial.
