I believe it's worth considering that there will always be a large group of people who never learn from their mistakes or recognize that their opinions are thoroughly refuted by new facts.
There is a sucker born every minute.
Most of them remain suckers their entire lives.
What a morning.

But was it?
Modem reboot (X5).
No service-outage in the area.
Passive switch unplugged & replugged 2X.
Hardline computer into modem.
Hair falling out.
Wife bitter and missing meetings.
All now fixed. Magically.
I have no idea wtf was causing it.
Now I'm going to go down a rabbit hole to offload the routing and DHCP to a separate device. That may not have even been the problem.
Definition of insanity.....
As a young person I never thought that changing the world would mostly involve lots and lots of
- tedious tasks
- dead ends
- late nights alone
- constant doubt
The petty challenges are what hold back progress. Rare are the heroic actions that make a difference.
I just spent 4 hours of my life debugging a problem that could have been solve by simply rebooting.
Fuckin' rabbit holes.....
Finally finished this project. Took over 15 months of planning, printing, installing, removing and reprinting, specifying the mirror details, gluing, painting and, finally, caulking.
Perfection takes time.
Enjoying a glass of champagne with the wife on our new dining room table.
First sitting.
The last one was in the family for 50 years. I wonder what gatherings will happen around this table in the decades to come
My friend is a knitter. She often visits us from Marin, so she drives across the Golden Gate Bridge.
And she likes bunnies.
This is an ongoing theme.
She likes it so much she's made stickers for her water bottle.
