Some people are bothered by QR codes in restaurants.

There is a restaurant in Portola Valley that uses Toast to both display the menu and place the order and pay. No waiter. Just a human delivering the food. Incredibly efficient.

I think if you need to enlist a waiter to both take your order, bring your food and process your payment, you should be paying for that service.

Otherwise, embrace the QR code.

Excited to see The Charlatans tonight!
And, their opener is RIDE, a shoegazing band I've not heard of. But, I'm listening to their music now and really like them!

A weakness in the American democratic construct is that we simultaneously elect our Leader and our primary governing position (aka "President").

There are plenty of people that want Trump leading them and have no clue about governance.

There are much fewer that believe in his ability to govern.

Those that are appalled at people supporting Trump assume they are judging his ability to govern.

They are more often merely hungry for someone they can respect . . to lead them.

Enjoy the last bit of sunshine on the California myacmas mountains for 2023

If you think 2023 was nutz . . .
brace yourself.

This AI tech is creating tools that will create new things that were either too difficult or too expensive to create.

It's an acceleration of creativity..both good and really f'ing terrible.

2024 is going to be nutzer.

Merry Christmas everybody!
Celebrate the community we've created within J's creation.

New idea for defense:

- Tethered drones that are supplied with ground-based power and equipped with munitions and machine-vision to target Shaheed drones.

- Tethered drones (as above) but equipped with short-range radar to provide precise guidance to the other set of drones.

- These are deployed as a techno-wall that destroys aerial munitions.

There's nothing like having to host a party to get your office organized and get home-improvement projects over the finish line (almost).

BTW, Monday nights are a good night for HOA/neighborhood parties during the Holiday season. Nobody has plans, so the attendance was incredible.

I started this project in January. Hope I can cross the finish line tomorrow.

San Francisco is definitely living in the future.
We saw this tonight:
A Waymo robotaxi is followed by a Tesla Cybertruck.

Big milestone tonight!

After 2 months of coding
(and I'm not a software developer)
I've enabled a system to build the first components for a "best practices" website.

The first topic will be Wildfire Management.

I'm planning to generate 10's of thousands of best practices using AI. I've already done a proof of concept.

Hopefully, this will be used to refine all best-practices and disasters like Lahaina, HI and Paradise, CA never happen again.

Martini Time!

There is definitely a Devil out there.

Computers prove it.

The latest Windows update killed my WSL (an obscure function that is required to run Docker).

Failing to resolve the issue late last night, I went to bed mad.

Opened up the computer this morning and everything works just fine.

Fargin' evil piece of sh....

I'm on a call now where 50 San Francisco citizens have stepped up to be community leaders to fix the issues we're facing.
Big turnout!
