My heritage is Ukrainian, both sides. Dad has long since passed, but Mom died just weeks before Putin invaded Ukraine.

I am glad she wasn’t here when the war started. It would have destroyed, watching from afar, and not being where she could have fought for her homeland.

But we rejoice in the US House vote today. I feel the hearts of Ukrainian troops exalted by this news. May they be blessed in their efforts.
