This storm is a bad one. Our power has been out all day and will be through the night. I just came to a library. My daughter was at Target when their power went out, also. Friends at Native Santa Cruz say the scanner is frightening them.

ug, this storm hit very hard at first, but things have eased up by me for now. i think i get another one tomorrow.
just checked and it looks like the eye is still swirling around in the bay area. 😳
