Still testing positive. 5 days.
Slept VERY well.
But, dizzy this morning.
Little appetite.
Paxlovid really leaves a bitter taste in your mouth - especially in the morning. And, it's not because of residual pill dust left from taking it the following evening. It's in my system.
Just got a notice from UCSF, the local hospital in San Francisco. They want me to participate in a drug study.
I agreed.
But, they probably didn't check my chart to see that I'm already on Paxlovid.
#COVID
@jurban I ended up in emergency 2 days after I contracted Covid. I was also given Paxlovid.. because I’m autoimmune.i tested negative 11 days after infection .it took me a full month to recover and I’m still not the same tbh.. hope you feel better💕
@Tonya
Wow. Sorry to hear that. My wife has had a number of issues since contracting it twice. Mostly joint inflammation issues. Yet, there are plenty of other potential causes. We do a lot of walking and she used to do squats at the gym. 4 decades of typing probably started the carpal tunnel effects.
I'm pretty healthy, so hoping for the best outcome.
Nevertheless, I really can't afford any "brain fog". My job wouldn't tolerate it. So, I need to knock this out asap.
@Tonya
Wow. That sounds similar to my wife. Her arms are tingling and the pain wakes her up at night. Thumbs are not bending easily.
She hasn't been diagnosed with any major issues. I'll pass along this info.
She's going to get a nerve conductivity test next week.
I think the key topic is inflammation. Just how it starts is the root cause. I hope you can keep sharing insights.
@jurban yvw😊ask the doctor to see if she’s can have a centrimere test done.. it can pick up on most auto immune diseases that she may have under lying..I’m just getting home from work.. sorry about the late reply 😩
