Mini-update:

Dead Russian officer confirmations are starting to roll in.

HIMARS strikes on Russian HQ's are taking their toll.

Russian 106th Airborne and 20th Motorized Rifle Divisions, both in the Kherson bridgehead have lost almost all of their officers.

There will be more confirmed from other HQ's over the next two to three weeks.

@Render

At what point does this become untenable for them?

@raspberrypanda Roughly the 1st week of last April. They've been running on inertia and old stockpiles since then.

They do have a very deep officer corp to draw from. But those aren't likely to be any better at war than the ones they're replacing.

I think killing trucks would have a bigger impact than officers.

The strategy doesn't require much experience: Bring ammunition to the front line. Blow up everything. Advance.

Without trucks they can't get ammunition to the front lines.

When we see photos of tank ammunition strapped to the back of a motorcyclist, I think the tied will turn.

@jurban @raspberrypanda

There is a reason why the Russians have been commandeering civilian trucks.

As always thank you Render.

I have found this to be an interesting read on the subject of logistics and HIMARS effective deployment.
