Otherwise people think each of your points are your conclusion.

This is because people can't think in a linear manner.
Or, they think that you can't think in a linear manner and they want to win the argument by interrupting you.

They can't STFU until you are done making your point.

I've got to keep my mouth shut until I have a solid conclusion to share.
