Just to put things into stark perspective, 400+ children are killed by guns in the US *per month*.
In three months of war, #Ukraine has reported ~240 children have been killed.
In one month ~2x more kids are killed by guns in the US than in 3 months of a country being actively shelled on a daily basis!
Conservative complain about a "war on guns"... you know what? Maybe that isn't such a bad idea.

I did a quick analysis on the data from this organization and here are the actual numbers for the US. Still horrible, but not at the scale you stated. Did you have a different source?
