I would classify the following as very unconfirmed, but worth watching:
FOX News - Kyle Becker: Russian strikes are now being reported in Ukraine’s neighbor Moldova, including in the capital city of Chişinău. Putin’s full-scale invasion appears to be more extensive than anticipated.

#1 would make sense if they can adequately supply them. Doubtful given their stellar performance with logistics elsewhere. They can't stretch themselves any further than they are now. Engaging from the west, with that far inland, would be suicide.
#2 would be nutz-0-coo-coo.

@jurban Haha I have two working theories about what motivation there is behind drawing Moldova into this:
1) Moldova is a very easy target which will give RU a safe new front from which to attack Odessa. They want to completely cut UA off from the Black Sea and create a land bridge RU > Transnistria.
2) Putin thinks it is better to lose to NATO/EU than to #Ukraine - so he is hoping that this sort of escalation will draw other countries in and make his defeat more palatable.
