Latest US aid package for Ukraine includes at least 1 battalion worth of M-109 self propelled 155mm guns and 1 battery of M-142 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, and apparently a whole lot of ammo for both systems.

Both systems are drawn from US Army's 5th Corp units and were already in Poland.

I knew the M-109's were coming (mentioned here about a week or so ago). I did not know that HIMARS was included.

Both systems out range almost all Russian artillery.

Counterbattery is on the table!
