Last night I watched a WSJ documentary on the supply chain. A big bottleneck is the lack of truck drivers and it is only going to get worse.
Solution: Allow any immigrant into the country if they can drive a truck.
- 5 year path to citizenship as long as they drive a truck for that period.
- Train & certify them in border towns if they can't yet drive a truck.
It's a win-win-win.

we need to fix what allows trucking companies, trucking schools, & vendors to exploit truckers.

except the industry will eat them alive, as it has been eating truckers alive since deregulation. see john oliver Last Week Tonight on Trucking a few weeks ago.
