An AS Val taken from a dead Russian soldier

The AS Val is a Soviet-designed assault rifle featuring an integrated suppressor. The Val was developed alongside the VSS Vintorez to replace modified general-purpose firearms, such as the AKS-74UB, BS-1, APB, and PB, for clandestine operations.

Strange. Clandestine? Everyone knows they are there.
And, doesn't a suppressor lower accuracy?

@jurban

They're commonly carried by special forces teams and Spetnaz {Russian Seals}, and there have already been teams of these special forces who were in civilian vehicles moving ahead of Russian forces doing sabatoge - also some of these special forces moved into Ukraine secretly before the invasion
