If you are after high res sound check out Qobuz. They have a free trial. Kind of pricey though.

But If you're all about supporting the artist, Bandcamp is the way to go for purchases. It's arguably better than brick-and-mortar stores if you want as much of your money as possible to go right to the artist. (short of buying merch from them directly, I suppose.)
