So, if the new owner of a major tech company does something particularly objectionable, like 70% layoffs or platforming hate speech: what is to keep all remaining employees from just... walking out and never coming back? They would have new jobs within days. My guess it they have no more vested ownership to loose. Like, why not? What is left of value if nobody knows how to keep the lights on?
