Orwell was an avowed socialist who went so far as to take up arms against fascists in Spain. But the facts never stop certain people from making up their own alternate reality, however disprovable and ridiculous.
@johnverdon Unsurprising that some people would try to claim Orwell was a fascist, since they regularly claim my Baby Brother hates people and wants to kill them.
@johnverdon You should read "Spain In our Hearts" and excellent book about Americans and others fighting in the Spanish Civil war.
