@johnldeboer I asked somebody once in a position to know the answer why we didn’t just take out Kim Jong-un. The answer was, because the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t. So as much as I understand the impulse here to hate these two, knowing Trump, keeping your enemies close might be the proper strategy.
@MidnightRider What their ass-kissing visit said to Trump - and everyone else - “We’re sorry for all those bad things we said about you, and we won’t do that anymore.” They’ve lost all credibility in commenting on Trump now. So maybe they’ll let their guests opine instead and respond with an Ari Melber-like “Hmm.”

The best way to know they are a bunch of lying shitheads is when they are doing a story on something that’s right within your wheelhouse. @johnldeboer Let me know if this is cynical: Tariffs will cause price increases on all appliances. After those prices go up, no matter what the future market conditions might be, they will not go back down. The same people crying about Biden inflation are going to drive this activity because they voted for Trump, but they will not admit after it happens that they made it worse by voting for him.

@MidnightRider They will do what you said. Trump doesn’t know how tariffs work, obviously, and his MAGA crowd buys in to his false narrative.He should’ve learned that lesson with his agriculture tariff during his first term, but he didn’t, and it cost the taxpayers big time. Here we go again.

@johnldeboer That’s why I consider our government a Punch and Judy show. It all happens by design, “oooo tough break, citizens, they almost did the right thing, better luck next time”. Thomas Jefferson was right but nobody had the ball to ever take his suggestion seriously and now it’s too late.
