When did “liberal” become a pejorative term? As opposed to “conservative.” Liberals don’t grimace when they say someone’s a conservative. But Republicans portray liberals like they’re dog dirt on the bottom of your shoe.
@johnldeboer I live in a red state, and Conservatives here are so utterly toxic that they make me gag every time they open their collective mouth. What goes around comes around.
@TwiHusband Well, they may claim to be just conservatives, and hide under that label, but they’re really right-wing extremists. Nothing wrong with being a Conservative, though they lack vision for future progress. Keep what you have, don’t venture forward is their philosophy. But today’s faux “conservatives” want to take the country back to when minorities and women had no say in governing.
