I seldom mask anymore, but I'm still diligent about sanitizing my hands and disinfecting things like shopping cart handles, and you know what? I haven't had a cold in four years.

@BlueMan2
During Covid, I was still working and seeing patients. My practice included children, which of course always got the flu in winter. Not a single case did I see that winter. Not one. Masking and hand washing works.

@CinnamonGirlE @BlueMan2 I had a similar experience. During the Covid years, I wore masks, sanitized my hands after grocery shopping, stayed away from crowds, didn’t travel. During that time I didn’t have a single upper respiratory illness (cold/flu) when normally I would have at least two a year. Anecdotal, sure, but I noticed the change.

@johnldeboer @BlueMan2
The causation is real. I never saw a year in which people didn't get the flu. Not before and not since.
