In about an hour I will start preparing a large portion of creamed onions, which I will be taking with me to the house of a coworker as my contribution to the Thanksgiving feast. I will be accompanied by my best friend from college (who is still my best friend), who is visiting this week. There will be pleasant human company as well as dogs. I think today will be a very good day for me, and I hope the same is true of all of you. And if it isn't, I hope things get better.

@stephen_a_allen My mother always made creamed onions for Thanksgiving. My wife tried to duplicate it for me early on, but over the years it got pushed aside for other accompaniments. Thanks for the memory.
