Chris is right, but I'm surprised nobody told you to check out the help files: help.counter.social

On an iPad, the app may not work, but a narrow enough view will revert to the app display anyway, which is very simple,

To see columns, you will have to use a browser and make sure the display is over ~625px wide (ish), so the size of your browser window matters, as may landscape vs portrait orientation of the device itself.

@johnldeboer

Once you have the web version displayed, notice that there are two display formats: SImplified & Advanced.

Simplified: Twitter-like, no "columns", just the main "firehose" feed, or an option for some other display types (my friends, notifications, etc), similar to the app.

Advanced: Tweetdeck style, allows you to pin all kinds of columns across a customizable display.

New ppl usually find Simplified easier to start, but Advanced has more options.

@FernLovebond Hell, to be honest, I don’t know if I’m using the app or the browser, but I get columns - Notifications, My Friends, and Firehose. That’s enough for me at present. Thanks for your help!

@johnldeboer
Ah, if you're seeing columns, you are using a browser. The app doesn't have them.

Since the pinning issue was what started all this off, I'll attach a little pic about it, but the help files are the best resource for all your questions: help.counter.social

Cheers! 🍻
