Paul Hruz should be stripped of his medical license. Care should be led by evidenced base medicine, not religious tracts.
"Hruz made it clear he would try everything in his power to stop the medical school’s new gender clinic. When Hutton pleaded that trans kids were more likely to have suicidal thoughts without affirming care, he replied, “Some children are born into this world to suffer and die.”

@jm__rives And that statement he made about Pope John Paul II’s writings is a lie. Not that that pope was a friend to gays and lesbians or anything like that. He was definitely a bigot and definitely would be to the trans community too if he was still alive today.
@jm__rives "Some children..."
Um. As a doctor, you're supposed to alleviate suffering and death. That's literally the point of doctors and medicine.
And there is no child who is born with the purpose of "I'm here to suffer and die".
That it happens is a failure, not a purpose.
@jm__rives This is also how they justify their anti-abortion laws. It’s all “God’s will” and if you end up on the business end of that, it’s your fault. It’s a very cruel way to view life. I wouldn’t even call it practicing medicine.
