@jjmacnab there are big sovereign citizen movements in pockets of California - people who are angry and frustrated with the Democratic values of this state.
They keep threatening to secede, but since so many live in wooded areas, they need the Fire Dept these days. But they still cause a heap of trouble for law enforcement
