Duh!
Zero of my cats have been "aloof." i think cats are just super flexible to adapt to how WE are with them. If the human just wants a roommate in a cat, and behaves that way, cat adapts. But, for those of us who are touchy/talky/cuddly w/them, they eat that up and depend on it.
