@kimborly I'm in! I spend a lot of time meeting people in cafes, so this might be difficult
@th3j35t3r *That* is what I expect from a leader. RIP
@ProjectUnmanaged In conversation, I find myself using the singular "they." It has the advantage of being commonly used, and it follows the same model as "you" replacing "thou"

@michaelredmond As an older generation (first wave Gen X) person, I hear you! I've embraced my phone after being forced to adapt by professional necessity. I expect that some of these features will migrate into the web version over time as well. CoSo is a work in progress. But going back to your original concern, I think you could make up your own hashtags for whatever categories you tend to post about, and your followers will know to search for those
@michaelredmond I think the plan is ultimately to build a CoSo specific smartphone app, but that takes time. In the meantime, the Mastodon ones work nicely! But it looks like Tootdon might have better search features than the one I currently use.
@michaelredmond Mastodon is the open source software that CoSo is based on. It's also the name of a bunch of affiliated sites that all use Mastodon software and integrate with each other (so users on one can read the posts of users on the others), but CoSo is independent and non-affiliated. However, any smartphone app that says it works to access Mastodon will also work to let you use CoSo
