The more I get overwhelmed, the more I feel like I can't do anything. Even the things that should come easily are difficult. Being a single parent, dealing with an auto engine replacement, a really hard problem at work, and finishing my grad school final has me where re-reading this note is a challenge. At this point, I stop and break down what I have left to do into a list. I make things bite sized. Oh, and I remember to breathe.
Bite-sized is vital. I remember when I was getting my 1st degree black belt I had to spar multiple opponents. I didn't fight them all at once - I had to maneuver them (and me) so I was only facing one at a time. Kick one ass then move on to the next.
@jasod oh man, that is a LOT. Sending positivity your way. You will make it!
