So, here's a list of my favourite female Japanese musicians and their bands:

- BimBamBoom
- Kanade Sato (drummer)
- Li-sa-X (guitarist)
- Senri Kawaguchi (drummer)
All of the bands listed are 100% female and have many players in their ranks I admire, but there is little point in listing all of them, since you would hear them while listening to the bands and could then make your own choice of whom to investigate.

@jackge you'll find most of the bands are Hard Rock / Metal, with some Pop and Jazz elements sprinkled in, as well as some Prog. My personal favourite of them all is Nemophila, but I've been following the development of a lot of those ladies since they were very young and getting their feet wet on YT. I first discovered many of them when they were sub-12 years old, which sounds creepy on the face of it, but the level of musicianship even at that age is stunning.
