i like eggs - boiled, scrambled, over easy, etc.

i appreciate they go in cakes & help make them all delicious.

but i hate quiche. every kind of quiche. i hate them all.

what is wrong with me?!?! 😜 😩

@singlemaltgirl I was the same way until I realized the crust was the deal breaker. So now I make 'crustless' quiche and I love it. Maybe that is your hold up too?

@jackge nope - it's the texture of the thing. which is odd b/c i like custard.

i imagine that i wouldn't like a fritatta but i can't be sure as i've never had one.

how do you make crustless quiche? how do you make it stay together??!!?

@singlemaltgirl Basically thats what crustless quiche is, a big fritata. So if the texture of the main part of the dish turns you off then that is not going to work for you. I wonder if you added a topping??? Hm. Must experiment

@jackge well, i always think a cheese or butter topping will fix most things. not so w/ quiche for me. so there you go...

@singlemaltgirl That is really interesting. Dont read this as trying to convert you to quiche, idgaf, but this has my amateur chef brain piqued. Thank you for the challenge! also:whats a food you didnt like but you acquired a taste for?

@jackge i'm a picky eater. always have been. i'm one of those 'cilantro tastes like soap' peeps.

i used to love green peppers on pizza but have since developed an allergy to them. avocados are the same πŸ˜”.

i really can't think of anything that i didn't like as a child that i don't still like as an adult.

& it's not usually a texture thing as it's a taste thing. but w/ quiche, it's both.

& yet, i love a good bread pudding...

i'm weird.
