The laws of power would tell you that you should not appear weak. So then don’t be afraid to tell a peer that they impress or inspire you. They really might need to hear it. Better competition also makes you better. That’s a real power move.

Please, please...If someone you know is having a hard time and just can't seem to hear you or be comforted no matter what you say, recognize it as an emergency situation. It will probably be for someone that you'll least likely expect needs immediate help.
