For anyone learning to play the guitar who is reclusive or too cheap to pay for in person lessons...

I wasted a solid year on one of those gamified apps on the iPad, then switched to Guitar Tricks and learned more in the first week using it than the other one. Don't make the same mistake I did. It's only slightly more expensive but definitely better.
