Right now, 74 large active wildfires are being managed nationwide, and have burned 681,569 acres. Fire managers are using full suppression strategies on 33 of these wildfires.

More than 14,400 wildland firefighters and support personnel are assigned to incidents across the nation.

Example: Some cuts of steak around me have gone from maybe $15/lb to $17.

But chicken went from $2-$4 to $5, pork cuts that were less than a dollar are $2-3 a pound, eggs and milk are up.

People who can afford steak are paying a little higher, but people eating less expensive things have seen prices double or more.

I buy at poverty level. The prices have gone _way_ up at that level, and it hits us much harder..
