my social security increased...it increased more last year so my portion I need to pay for my subsidized apartment increased, my food stamps decreased...I am net $6.10 a month with less net income per month...not as bad as the year my health insurance cost increase was more than the cost of living increase in social security benefits (I owned my own home then)
@igneousidol
I am in similar circumstances from the increase plus a reduction in rent. The amount I pay for food now far exceeds the amount I formerly paid for rent.
@igneousidol The increase this year was just enough to cover about half the value of the food stamps we lost because of the tiny increase last year.
Food's gone up though, so that's awesome.
