SCOTUS just ruled that Boston City Hall must allow some RWNJs to fly a Christian flag at City Hall -- which is a blatant violation of the section of the First Amendment that specifically prohibits government from promoting one religion over another. As a pagan, I feel my civil rights have been violated here! But, turnabout is fair play, and I will be sending a letter to Boston City Hall demanding to fly a pagan flag featuring a bold pentacle front & center. 🌒 🌕 🌘
@A4NY14 The Satanic Temple aren't actually satanists. They mainly exist to be a counter to Christians trying to inject themselves into everyday life.
@ibid - I'm Wiccan. We do not believe in Satan. That is a Christian-Judeo invention, as far as we are concerned. That being said, The Satanic Temple is welcome to also petition Boston City Hall for the right to fly their flag there too, based on this SCOTUS ruling and I encourage them to do so.
