Goto keep the pressure up, on my rides, for the next month or so. I want to make sure I've got the legs, if I end up doing something like L'Etape, next year

Ah, those were the days. Photo taken at the Hamilton Fountain on Riverside Drive, NYC, the day after an October 1991 show at the Academy, with Neds. The photos were taken here as it was just yards from our regular NY Hotel, the Milburn. That was on the street opposite - W76th.

Here's today's ride on , that first climb is amazing - but punchy. 12 minutes at 250w

The second year in a row- that's five thousand miles, done. Still adding to the total, too.

Today's ride was just amazing. Beautiful morning in the Surrey Hills. Here's St Barnabas church, on the summit of Ranmore Common, looming out of the fog.

OK, here's Strummer (sadly, his partner in crime, Jones, is no longer with us)

Whip update: added Hunt UD 44 Carbon Spoked wheels and a Dura-Ace crankset to the SL6. Might tinker with the saddle type, but it's pretty much done. Overall weight is now 7.1kg, without pedals.

Veloviewer stats for my season. Happy with that elevation, for sure.
