I will never forget seeing my father grab his donkey-jacket and shovel to go help dig for these children. I was their age exactly. He didn't come home for 2 weeks, and when he did, he could not speak for days. He was utterly broken. The things he saw were horrific. We who were there will never forget Aberfan. π’ π’
Woke up, looked outside. The sun is out briefly, it's cloudy but calm. Then I look at the weather site. This is what I see. WHAT??? I mean, WHAT? Is someone drunk at work today?
Oooh lookie! Probably the last we'll see this year, the temps are dipping sharply next week, but for today - YAY!
Well, that's me just applied for my Pension.... age is getting real now! π π

I am always complaining about the cold Winters here in Scotland, but it is still a very beautiful place!
This one is for our dear friend @Minholkin This was taken this morning, just 5 miles from my house! I never got flowers blooming in my garden this year, but this field... None of them grew very hight this year but so delightful to see. π π π»
