I honestly think that the current trend for being hyper-partisan has done a great deal of damage to modern society.The "if you're not with us,you're against us" attitude used to be a right-wing trait,now it's pervaded the entire political spectrum. You're meant to criticise even your favourite flavour of politician if you see they're not doing what they should be,it's your right,it's your duty and nobody should be calling you out for a slight shift from the party line.

@FrankCannon

My son frequently says he longs for the political tolerance of 15 years ago.

@LnzyHou I was a steadfast Labour voter until Blair got in....now I think they're a pack of neo-liberal wankers with a handful of decent politicians in their ranks.That doesn't mean that I support the Tories,never have,never will have my support but Labour simply doesn't deserve my support these days because they've changed direction so drastically.We cannot blindly give our allegiance to anyone,there has to be dissent at times to let them know we're not happy with the job they're doing.

@FrankCannon @LnzyHou Same Frank. Growing up in South Wales, Labour was it. But not now. I hate how they've changed.
