Well, today, in November, in the North of Scotland, I have been down town, visited my friend, changed my bedding, got said bedding washed and it's almost dry out in the wind and sunshine. And still only 2 pm. Still pretty sore, but, I'd call that a win! Gonna rest up now and do a bit of crochet. π π π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ Never say die! Never give in! πͺ
@Zailrand Thanks! Yeah, madness... doesn't half beat hanging it indoors though!
@homebird Totally! I always hang washing out even in winter as I prefer the smell of outside but it rarely dries so comes in for the last bit.
@Zailrand Yes, me too! I just air it in the house, once it's pretty dry from hanging outside. My mother used to put it out in the frost. She said it freeze-fried. Must say too, it's been nice having the windows open today and letting the fresh air circulate through the house!.
@Zailrand Oh my gosh, freeze-DRIED, NOT FRIED! π π
@homebird funnily enough I read it as dried π
@Zailrand π π
@homebird oooo! Yes, Cumbria was always good for freeze drying washing! As long as the gale force wind didn't rip the pegs off and send it flying over the fields π
@Zailrand I have double pegs on the duvet cover!
@homebird morning π¦π©π»βπ¦°
