@grrlscientist I have not read it, but I felt the same way after reading The Seed Keeper, which would not have been even as devastating as Bury My Heart. It makes me so sad to learn of the horrible treatment of indigenous and black/brown people that has occurred in our country. I can't understand the hatred and racism that continues to this day.
