Okay, sitting here at my desk and hearing a rumbling noise.
Military jet. No problem, we have a reserve base in the region.
But they usually operate weekends. And fly cargo jets.
Then I hear more rumbling.
I step outside and see through the clouds several fighters off in the distance, turning north, and kicking in the afterburners.
I hope it's just routine training.
Okay, I have a can of spray adhesive in my hand to make a minor repair in my vehicle, and I am trying to read the fine print that are the directions for use.
Glasses on - Can't make out the print.
Stand in better lighting - Can't make out the print.
Grab my magnifying glass - Still can't read the print!
WTF? Don't these corporations understand that occasionally there may be an old fart using their product?
At least the warnings and dangers are legible.
One last song before I have to step away and get some adulting done today.
Imagine strolling down the street with someone, and you hear music playing through a window, and you suddenly start to dance...and perhaps fly...
Rainy day off and payday as well.
Morning spent with coffee and bank account deciding which wolf at the door gets fed this week.
Not complaining really, I know I have it better than most, and I've gone through rough times before, but man it wears you down after a while.
So ,maybe there's no light at the end of the tunnel yet, at least I do have a light guiding me along.
Sorry to whine, but writing this down helps me get it out of my system and remind me I have some good out there. Thnx CoSo.
Which of us inspires the other?
Currently playing - Love this tune.
M - Qui De Nous Deux:
"Hey, could you play a Big Band tune?"
"Sure".
Oh, and give it a rockabilly twang"
"...oookay."
"And could you add a little Edvard Grieg...you know, to appease the classical listeners?"
"...ummm..."
Brian Setzer, overhearing the conversation, puts down his drink and grabs his guitar.
"I got this."
