@grayman
My kind of place! I'm assuming those red levers dispense coffee?
Would be nice.
@grayman
Is that actually your office? At first it looked like some kind of steam punk fantasy office. Now I'm guessing a train. Whatever it is, it beats TF out of sitting in a cubicle!
@grayman Steampunk.
@grayman so, are you a subway/underground train driver?
It's a fascinating office with dynamic brake, throttle, danger, a heater, a sturdy break lever and lots of buttons and instruments.
What's the field for pressure on the display for, is it hydraulic for doors?
Three gauges are air pressure/air flow for the brakes and one for power loading.
I run freight trains above ground, currently local work servicing a few customers.
In my career the longest was around 10,000 feet long and the heaviest was a little over 20,000 tons.
@grayman very cool!
I expected a train cabin to be a bit less rough though.
The ones for passenger trains are not bad.
The ones that I run are older utility oriented models.
At least there's heat as the weather chills down. Summers can be brutal because there's no AC or even a fan to create a breeze.
@grayman: Makes me think of this.
@grayman Cool! What's that about?
