I saw a short video tribute to Maggie Smith, & in it she was asked about her view on aging. “I hate it,” she said, & then she gave some line ftom Oscar Wilde — something about the problem with aging is that you reach a point where you’re having breakfast every thirty-five minutes.

Good lord, I can’t believe I’m turning 68 this week.
