Why the fuck do people try the door, realize it's locked and then fucking knock' in public restrooms?

Person runs into the toilet fumbles with stuff sits down and cue the appropriate noises of emergency pooping.
After a sigh of relief... a knock.
"Occupied."
A few seconds later, another knock.
"Um... occupied?"
Then two people in unison.
"Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior Jesus Christ?"
"Literature" is seen being pushed under the door. Cut to black.
I am going to start carrying JW literature for just such purpose.
