Having a weird episode of severe imposter syndrome.
I had 5 people (these are big time executives in pharma) coming up to say they appreciate my straight forward style of public speaking last Saturday at a global neurological seminar/workshop thing.
I'm more terrified of getting this kind of praise than I am speaking in front of hundreds of people. I get flustered and doubt myself even more.
Anybody have any good advice on how to get my brain to think I might not suck at it completely?
I think that will be my way of complimenting people from now on:
"A ball of lubed scorpions to you!".
