Thinking about bike week currently going on at Laconia.

@grayman

Lake Winnipesaukee is my #1 favorite lake in the whole world. I loved boating there and camping nearby.

Weirs Beach was always packed when I used to go there in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. It was a very small beach town with a very small population,. Then, all of a sudden, the motorcycle race would end.and bikers paraded into town and it became crowded.

It appears it's more popular than ever now!

@Priestess

I avoid going there during this week.

Instead, I as I write this I am on my motorcycle across the river in Vermont having coffee with a brownie sundae.

The good life.

🙂

@grayman
Your idea of a good time is definitely the good life.

Excitement of a crowd appeals to a lot of folks. Not me. The lake is beautiful when there are only a few other boats on the water.
I much preferred the small beach town and surrounding area when it was nearly empty. I wonder if it is still small... I highly doubt it.

@Priestess @grayman - you two
would LOVE my little lake in the
middle of the huge cornfield!!!

i'm jest sayin'

@Priestess @grayman

- Merci. Merci.

my little slice of paradise....
