A Trump supporting, anti-trans, anti-gay Republican was elected commissioner of Hancock County Indiana. He won despite being in jail on election night for a sexual assault in Vegas. He plead guilty to lesser charges.
It’s now come out that the woman he assaulted was his daughter. (adult, has boyfriend)
Conservatives are fine electing sexual assaulters.

When the secret police come to fetter out all those who have been disloyal to the régime or transgressed its arbitrary commandments or simply been in a category of people the régime defines as anathema, it's not enough to be good at hiding your tracks and blending in with the multitude. Maybe you can escape detection with the right pseudonyms and passwords and secret software. But that's merely self-preservation, not resistance.
