"Glass Lit" Edition

From a series I envisioned but could never find the backing for it or the location to make the installation.

MY concept was to light the glass, that lit the figure that were then printed, translucently on glass to light the space they were in.

I do sandblasting on glass, with hand painting. I, too want to light them with LEDs from the edge...and am flailing at how to power them.
Any suggestions?

Fortunately, the LED's make power less of a problem. First decision is whether it's battery power or grid.

Then, if grid, where do you tap into that power in relation to where the art is located?

If battery, do you just replace batteries as needed or do you go rechargeable and by what means? Could a solar array keep them charged? or are you back to finding a tap into A/C again?
