Feeding a Pine Siskin near Torch River Michigan.
These little birds were very friendly. They would often follow me around along with Chickadees and Nuthatches whenever I was in the yard. They are pretty much gone now until next year.
While caring for my dad in his last year of life we would often sit on the deck and watch the hummingbirds around a feeder I had set up. Something my dad loved very much. One male hummingbird would roost at night near the feeder guarding it fiercely. During a super full moon I set up ahead of time and was able to capture several images as the moon rose behind our little hummingbird. This is a focus stacked image from those pictures.

This village is just 50 miles from the town my daughter lives in. For the first time ever they now have running water in their homes.
