@Anemone This is now wildflower season. One of my favorite warm weather activities is looking for them.

The warblers are returning to my area. I saw this Black and White Warbler this morning playing hide and seek around the tree.

@AndersonArtwork Thank you! I
will start adding the hashtag when i post pictures here!

@redenigma The local Master Gardener's take care of several flower beds along the trail. The flowers offer some early color before some of the wildflowers appear. Before long there will be much to find along the trail. I like to walk and explore this trail. Some days I walk only a couple of miles but spend 4-5 hours. Regulars in the park know me as the guy who crawls through the under brush.

@Groovyeli It really is! They don't look like the same bird when it;s tucked in.

@Mauve_matelot I always look for these in the spring. The little bit of red stands out if I am looking for it, but it can be easy to miss. It is native in my area.

Just a week ago it was 12* degrees with a windchill of 2* degrees. Today 54* degrees and this one was catching some rays.

Snapping Turtle

@Anemone They really are cute and very curious. I have them at my feeder too and I never get tired of them.
